More about Terriers

Working type Terriers are the dogs terrierrescue particularly tries to help…meaning the terriers who used to be bred off and using to work in and around the farm. Today the travellers are breeding them and farmers. The bred types focused on are Lakeland terriers pedigree and Fell terriers often sold as ‘Lakelands’ (The Fells ofcourse relates also to the Lake District.) Border terriers were bred further north but often mixed into the breeding as the terrier men/ breeders bred for performance not for physical type specification. Jack Russells and in particular Parson’s Jack Russell’s and Fox and Welsh terriers are close brethren!
