Millie Fox Terrier	Millie was born 7/7/7 She is living with a busy family and gets over excited with the children especially when she hasn’t had enough exercise. She also is tooo interested in their cat and has had to be separated. Millie is up for an active life with the focus being more on her needs as a young terrier with vur vur vum! How lovely is she..but you have to be up for her energy levels which should tame around the 10 yr mark! Can you give her the guidance and entertain she needs
Mocha Patterdale	Mocha is a pretty little girl Small the size of a domestic cat…& yes a minx! She was surrendered into a Welsh pound putting her life in severe risk. She is vax'd 'flead & spayed.   She is a sweetheart with people & has gained confidence with dogs outside. She has a very lively energy & so can mix with dogs but may get head strong with her energy. Salsa Parson’s Jack Russell	Salsa is 10 months old. She loves dogs & is extremely affectionate. She is housetrained .From working stock so recall is an issue as her chase instincts kick in. Salsa was spayed, chipped & vax’d by us. She is wormed & flea treated. Fabulous dog but needs awareness as she will have to remain managed on an extender lead & is very determined if she wants to get out the garden as in the fosters who has pet rabbits nextdoor that she can’t see. Poppy Fell terrier	Poppy is 13 months old & a very loving dog. She is a real rescue dog who has missedn out so much & passed pillar to post one of 2 litter bitch pups wholearned to turn rough play into fights. She now will react so needs to be an only pet; muzzled outside on her walks. Poppy is spayed; chipped & vax’d. Needs someone with time to offer her socialisation, stimulation & training. A real people dog. She is still a mischievous puppy who has missed out so much; she has her terrier ways she’ll make you laugh. For terrier people… she will absolutely captivate. Belle Patterdale	Belle is a 11 month Patterdale who has been well trained; well socialised & well treated. She is currently living with 2 large dogs successfully Is good with people ..oh yes don’t worry she is a terrier & has her terrier ways! Belle is spayed vax’d & chipped. Jaz Red Fell terrier	Jaz is 4 yrs old & a very friendly family orientated girl. She grew up in a young family with another dog but developed dog reactiveness (& sheep/ livestock) outside which was difficult to manage with another dog. She was rehomed with a retired couple who have adored her but have always found her difficult to manage on her daily walk. Floyd Patterdale	Floyd is 6 yrs old . Excellent all rounder. He is a bigger Patterdale with wire coat. Has lived with other pets and young children. Owners emigrating in 3 weeks. Honey Staffiex	Honey ..usual chequered history which seems to affect staffies in urban cities!! Owned by couple who split then man made homeless. She came to us in full season so we are caring for her through this & will spay her before homing. She is magical...good with all people; good with dogs; good with children can be left; She is SOOO cuddlable. She will probably be homed with a family who had never dreamed of owning a staffie but will be bowled over…as we all are. Spayed this week. Freya Patterdale	Freya 13 yrs old. She was rescued 11 yrs ago as a young dog but her owners died 3 yrs ago & now her longterm fosterer has had to give her up due to cancer. She is unfortunately not good with dogs or cats She runs off lead but must remain on a muzzle which she is used to. She is a larger than life character. Jake Parson’s Jack Russell	Jake was rescued at the age of 11 months..10 yrs ago. He has since lived in a flat with no garden. He was the light of the husbands eye and slept on his bed and sadly he died in May.  His remaining owner finds the stairs difficult to manage so many times a day. He has been in other dogs homes and mixes outside but never had a dog in his home. He particularly likes Lab. and JRTs but wary of lurcher types. Jake is good off the lead. Sandy Ped Lakeland Pics to follow.	Sandy in 9 Yrs old. He was bought as a puppy by 2 friends..the other friend had his sister.  They have spent a lot of time together but live separately.  Sandy's owner has dementia and now liver failure and seriously ill in hospital. We can't move Sandy in case his owner comes out of his coma but things look bleak and he is likely to need his home soon. Sandy has moved in with his sister but this owner finds it hard to cope. He is used to sleeping on the bed and having treats from the table. In fact his diet has been sporadic of late. He comes off the lead and with is actual owner but currently managed on the lead in care. He is fawn and silver groomed regularly; wormed; neutered; flea treated etc. He has been a close companion and now we want to be there for him to avoid him going into kennels. Sally Jack Russell Terrier	Sally is 6 yrs old has lived a pampered existence & so may it continue! She was introduced to a male JRT as a puppy & only just lost her companion as he has been rehomed to a relative. She is now waiting for her new home as her owner is going into a nursing home. She isn’t used to regular walks but adores them...can bark a little at meeting dogs but soon settles. She is used to being on furniture; full time companionship & 2 meals a day! Bob Patterdale	Bob is 4 yrs old & has had 2 homes prior to his current home. His elderly owner adores him but being mid eighties & with his recall being well not 100% she finds it difficult to restrain him & is frightened of being pulled over. Shiva Staffie x	Shiva grew up in Holland with a young family but change of job meant she was being left for long periods. She was homed in rural setting with an “home working” family. She has lived there for 2 yrs. The family have a baby due & although they know she would never hurt not sure the combination of a toddlers; visitors & changes in routine will suit Shiva. She is a lovely dog & is looking for a confident family to love her & ensure she is integral & yet not dominant. Spayed; vax’d & chipped. Loves the car & walks. Delta Patterdale	Delta is I yr old and highly intelligent. She'll catch on if there's is a treat in the outcome. She has been living with another dog but sadly they haven't got on lately as Delta can be territorial with her positions with him.  She is fine with people and other dogs but obviously feels there is some competion. Delta hasn't lived with children but if introduced nicely (as with people) she'll get along fine. She can get very excited with visitors so needs her energy to be managed. Tilly ‘Working Lakeland’	Tilly is a solid little terrier, 8 yrs old, who has held it all together admirably. She is living with a Lab.; a cat & young children. She has her terrier moments indoors but on the whole has been an entertainment channel of all who know her. Outside she adores her walks but isn't fully trustworthy with other dogs so needs 'terrier management on an 8 metre extender as most terriers. Tilly is losing her home due to her busy family not able to offer her the walks she so loves & needs. Also there is a baby in the household which offers further stress. Mutley Patterdale	Mutley is 3 yrs old- has a sense of humour but also serious minded when comes to his training in the Arena. Obedience level 2! & Basic agility. In the field training helps...but he is a terrier who once he gains trust with dogs & people relaxes then all is well. Initially can be defensive so muzzled outside so socialisation can continue & be successful. He lived with Shepherd x bitch and now in foster mixes with a pack of 8 dogs. Mutley has an over-shot jaw which adds to his charm Infact is competent socially but would need ‘comfortability’ to live with another dog. Minxie Mini Patterdale	Minxie is a minx...but then she’s had it rough & is only a tot! Very petite, she is about 12” to the shoulder & 4 yrs old. Her owner had emotional problems & had to let her dogs go. Minxie is well socialized in her pack (living with 6 terriers) but scarred/ reactive to dogs outside. She is comical; sweet & shy... seeks affection & laps. 3 main issues Need a VERY secure garden (terrier proof non visual panel fences as escapologist; housetrained but can mark initially esp. if other dogs been around: Feels vulnerable to dogs outside yet brilliant with fireworks; traffic; joggers plus! Link Patterdale	Link give us a wink 4 yrs old Typical Patti Good looking..charming with good basic skills. He isn’t completely fluent with dogs & has fallen out with the other dog in the family on occasions.. he has occass mishaps over night; But then no Patti is perfect..& just look at those eyes & tell me you wouldn’t forgive him absolutely everything. He is losing his home as he needs more time than currently his family can give him. Jay Standard Yorkie	Jay is about 7 yrs old and we believe is Noddy’s dad and has been his companion and still is. He has been a stud dog; is quite dominant with other dogs but very friendly with it. Freddie Ped. Lakeland	Freddie is 3 yrs old & a great friend and character.  Has had a very full life and devoted owners.  However Freddie is very highly strung This makes his management in the house and outside demanding. He is reactive to domestic noises which leaves you feeling if only you could save him from himself! He needs an active and yet calm  lifestyle to challenge his energy in constructive directions and owners who understand from the outset Freddie’s problems are not going to be cured/ solved but need to be accepted as integral to Freddies make-up and he is supported in minimalising their impact on him. Bootsie Patterdale	Bootsie is a much loved Patti who lives with his family in Yorkshire. He lives with a 4 yr old and a 10 yr old child plus another dog. All has been well but the 4 yr old joined him when on the sofa and he snapped and caught him. The family feel he finds the young child too much and so are looking for another home for him. Buster Staffordshire	Buster is a 2 yr old Staffie who is a great all round dog with no issues to speak of other than his owners of splitting up. He is a big staffie & high energy currently as being left all day with few walks in his week. Great on/off lead; good with sister’s baby; great with dogs though can occasionally be nervous. Neutered, chipped & vax’d. The only thing he doesn’t have going for him is no for cats! Batleigh Staffordshire	Batleigh is about 18 months. He was found stray in July walking a long with a red ball in his mouth...which he carried into kennels with him. He has been to 2 rescues & been rejected as ‘bull breed’ his early pictures didn’t clearly show his breed type. He is very people friendly & gets on with dogs. He has arrived in foster...a little shell shocked as he was over 11 months in kennels..but doing really well. His housetraining is well on its way & his one problem..wanting the grab the lead & chew through it is fading. Super super dog. Harris Patterdale	Harris 3 yrs old & a diamond dog. Well trained; great fun outside; loves the car & to swim. Recall … good! Neutered, vax’d & chipped. He is generally good with dogs & loves games. He is wary of strangers entering his territory but forgives them after gentle introductions..post-person & window cleaners wouldn’t get off so lightly. Sarge Jack Russell terrier	Sarge would be in charge if allowed. In fact the message from his current owners is be strict & keep to firm boundaries else Sarge will become Sergeant & it spoils his loving demeanour. Everything doee! Trained up; good off the lead; great in the van & can be left. Will work for his treats & mixes well generally. Family going to the States & can’t take Sarge with them. Rhubarb Patterdale	Rhubarb 4 yrs old is living with family & has grown up with their young son. He would be fine with known visiting children but would prefer an older household. He also lives his Patterdale father. Rhubarb is truly the terrier & had a few altercations with ‘dad’; will try to escape to see the world & quite territorial about his house & garden. Gyp ‘Working’ Lakeland	Gyp is 10 yrs old. He is good dependable kind of guy. Bud ‘Lakeland’ Red Fell Wire haired no pics	Bud was raised in an outside situation living in the garage. He was trained to work but he & his brother ended up fighting with not enough input into them. He is now 1 yr old was homed 6 weeks ago to a man in his mid 70s. He has put a lot of work into Bud ..neutered, vax’d & chipped. He is too interactive with his owner & tending to relate to him as though he was a dog...jumping up at him when in the garden, not letting him tie his shoe laces. Spice Jack Russell	Spice is 2-3 yrs old. Great with people & generally fairs well with most other dogs. She is a terrier thru & thru so up for adventure & not trustworthy in her recall. She also was reactive to traffic & still needs careful work here. She is such a love & very endearing. Needs a ‘terrier home’. Only pet status required. Noddy Disabled Standard Yorkie	Fostered with view to homing Noddy is 5 yrs old and so sweet..but has had nothing in his life so far. He was brain damaged at birth and presents as cerebral palsied..walking like he is moved by strings. We haven’t had a chance to assess him in a domestic setting..he has always lived in a kennel with his father and half brother. Currently can’t bring further dogs in my home and it breaks my heart but he is now safe and will soon get the attention and love he needs.
