If you are interested in a dog on the website please include the name of the dog or dogs you are interested in on your email. If you don't see a dog you like on this website, but know what sort of dog you are looking for, you can complete the form and we will keep an eye out for your ideal terrier. The more open you are the more will we be able to help remember temperament requirements are more priority than age a terrier has a life expectancy of 16-17 yrs so even 10yrs old isn't old.

We reserve the right to not home a dog from our rescue with you if we feel your home or circumstances are not suitable for the dog.

We may ask that we carry out a home visit before we rehome a dog to you, so that we can talk to you face to face about the dog.

We ask for a donation to help us to save and help more dogs. If your dog has not been neutered already you will need to sign an agreement that this will be carried out when the dog is old enough.

As our dogs are all over the UK, in various situations, the procedure varies from dog to dog. Don't be scared off by our Terrier Rescue homing questionnaire, we would love to hear from potential homers and are happy to discuss your circumstances, so please get in touch to get the ball rolling.

Rehoming your Dog

If you have a dog you can no longer care for we can help you find it a suitable and loving new home. The more notice we have the better it is. Rehoming your dog through a rescue will ensure that all the necessary checks are carried out and the new owners will have the backup of a rescue should they need any help or advice throughout the dogs life.

The first thing to do is to complete the Dog Surrender Questionnaire so we can find out more about the dog and how we can help you.

Fostering a Dog

We are always on the lookout for people who can foster our dogs for a while until we find them a new home. Fostering is rewarding but hard work. Please email us and tell us more about yourself and how you can help lynne@terrierrescue.co.uk. Obviously bear in mind issues such as housetraining; garden security and separation anxiety can feature with certain dogs.

You can help us in other ways too. We need home checkers to visit potential homes, and we always need help with transport, dog items and toys and donations, just get in contact and we will be in touch.
